New York-based AvroKO has formed a partnership with chef Matthew Lightner who will head up all of the firm’s West Coast F&B sites under the banner AvroKO Hospitality Group West.
Formerly of the two Michelin-starred Atera in New York, Lightner’s first venture with AvroKO, NINEBARK, will open next month in Napa Valley—a restaurant, bar, and rooftop lounge to live in the current home of Thomas & Fagiani’s.
AvroKO has planned an airy, garden-driven design for the three-story NINEBARK, which will include a bar and dining area on the ground floor; an upscale dining room centered around an arched, open kitchen and chef’s table on the second floor; and a rooftop garden dining and bar experience with vintage plaid upholstered banquettes and gliders on the third floor.
AvroKO Hospitality Group West has developed a long-term plan for expansion in Napa Valley over the next several years.
