Riviera Dining Group has unveiled Claudie, a new culinary destination in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood.
Designed by Los Angeles-based OV & Co. and Barcelona-based designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, Claudie channels the timeless charm of the South of France with a rich palette of natural materials including wicker, wood, clay, and stone.
Beginning at the terrace
The journey begins with a grand staircase leading to a wide arched doorway, which opens out to a 2,470-square-foot outdoor terrace framed by lush greenery.
A striking fountain, inspired by intricate French jewelry design, serves as the terrace’s focal point, while a bronze sculpture by artist Ada Da Silva blends into the surrounding landscape. A yellow-and-white striped awning overhead adds a sun-drenched Riviera flair, as an expansive circular racetrack-style bar connects the terrace to the indoor dining space.
CLAUDIE’s main dining room
Inside, the 2,408-square-foot main dining room exudes an intimate yet refined ambiance. Mediterranean-inspired glazed tiles, handcrafted furnishings, and exposed ceiling beams set a rustic yet elegant tone.
A sculptural circular light fixture, evoking the sun’s warm glow, crowns the space, while ambient lighting accentuates a gallery wall with built-in niches and an illuminated orange tree at its heart.
At the back of the dining room, an open kitchen framed in wood and fluted glass offers guests a glimpse into the culinary artistry. Meanwhile, the private dining room off to the side showcases a mural by artist Victoria Krylov against a blush-hued backdrop, depicting a bold and sophisticated muse basking in a carefree Mediterranean day.
From its sinuous furnishings and muted, natural color palette, every element of Claudie’s design embraces a feminine, organic aesthetic where French elegance merges with Miami’s modern vibrancy.
“The roots of Claudie are deeply personal, drawing inspiration from the South of France, particularly the village of Mougins, where I grew up and where my father has served as mayor for decades,” says Gregory Galy, founder and CEO of Riviera Dining Group. “Mougins is a remarkable place, celebrated for its seamless blend of artistry and Michelin-starred cuisine, while epitomizing a way of life centered on slow living, effortless sophistication, and an inherent appreciation for beauty and culture. At Claudie, under the leadership of chef Michaël Michaelidis, we are dedicated to offering an elevated culinary experience that embodies our unwavering commitment to excellence.”
Claudie marks the latest venture from Riviera Dining Group, joining its other Florida concepts like Mila and Casa Neos.
