French luxury conglomerate Kering has announced plans to launch a second restaurant under the Gucci banner—this time stateside, and its first one outside Italy. Set to occupy a premier location that spreads across more than 50,000 square feet rooftop space on the city’s posh Rodeo Drive, the Gucci Osteria will draw inspiration from its predecessor, the Gucci Garden in Florence, which opened as an eatery, exhibition space, and boutique in January 2018. Just like this one, the Stateside outpost will also be a result of the collaboration between Michelin-starred Italian chef and restauranteur Massimo Bottura and the power fashion house.
