HP Pechersk has opened Kiev, Ukraine, as the city’s new stylish F&B destination. Belarusian design firm Atelier Prototipi crafted the two-level space as an interplay of diverse colors and shapes against a cement backdrop.
Spread across approximately 1,830 square feet, the concept is lined with expansive concrete offset with brass and marble elements. The façade of panoramic glazing frames views of the picturesque forest setting while infusing natural light. On the upper level, furniture is oriented around the bar and upholstered in velvet to evoke coziness, in tandem with sofas and tables made of polished stone. The same material also wraps the restaurant’s entryway in deep blue and red marble tones, which is concealed behind a custom, double-sided mirror that reflects the brevity and symmetry of the hidden space.
The lounge and bar on the lower level are anchored by brass as well to offset the red marble stairway, while upholstered booths, bar portals, and inverted light installations echo the arched motif across the interiors.
