Feya Café Adds Second London Flagship

Popular London café Feya has unveiled its newest location in the heart of the city’s bustling West End. Locally based design studio FormRoom designed the second flagship with a playful interior narrative that depicts a maximalist forest scene.

“Their vision is one rooted in mythology and escapism, so that lends itself naturally to a maximalist approach to feature design,” says David Roberts, FormRoom managing director. “Feya has a very loyal brand following who see it as a retreat from reality. So, we looked to create a narrative for the space, so that as you move through it, you’re taken on a very literal journey of discovery.”

A rich textural palette and pastel hues are paired with bold bespoke features. The nearly 2,000-square-foot interior contains abstract, surreal references to water—from lily pads accents to custom velvet seating and an inlaid resin “river” with amethyst jewel tones. A bespoke crystal chandelier and mirror detailing punctuate the ground floor, while the upper section features a large-scale light, crystal, and foliage installation.
