Auberge Resorts Collection has selected by Bowie Place Properties to manage Bowie House, a forthcoming urban retreat in the bustling Cultural District of Fort Worth, Texas. Slated to open in late 2023, the 106-room luxury boutique hotel will embody a firm Western personality through a modern lens.
“Fort Worth is a culturally rich gem full of uniquely Texan experiences, ranging from its famous Stockyards district to the celebrated Kimbell Art Museum. We are excited to help open up this city to global travelers with a one-of-a-kind luxury hotel experience befitting such an incredible destination,” says Auberge chairman Dan Friedkin. “Bowie House will be modern and luxurious, yet local and full of character.”
Locally based architectural and interiors firm BOKA Powell will design Bowie House to convey a strong sense of place through traditional Texas finishes and Spanish architecture. A collection of eccentric furniture and décor sourced by Bowie Place president Jo Ellard will add a personal touch to the interior as well.
The four-story property will welcome guests with a colonnaded lobby equipped with a range of social areas. A signature restaurant, laidback lobby bar and lounge, and a terrace bar will serve as social hubs along with a billiards room, fireplace lounge, grand ballroom, and an intimate rose-hued lacquered library.
Rounding out the onsite amenities will be a barn-inspired spa, fitness center, and verdant outdoor pool and terrace. In addition to 88 guestrooms, 18 suites will evoke familiar but sophisticated finishes, including the 2,250-square-foot signature suite.
