Canopy by Hilton has announced that it will expand its international footprint into two new countries over the next three years.
Slated to open in late 2021, the Canopy by Hilton Cape Town Longkloof will mark the entry of the Canopy brand in Africa. The property will channel the 112-year-old heritage of the historical epicenter of the city, known as Longkloof Studios. The 150-room hotel will be housed within a former United Tobacco Company building transformed by New York-based firm DHK Architects.
The Canopy by Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit will open in 2022 as the brand’s first Thai property. The 176-room hotel’s location in the Sukhumvit district will afford it close proximity to cultural and commercial attractions like the Emporium Bangkok and EmQuartier Shopping Mall. An all-day restaurant and bar will be featured onsite in addition to a fitness center and pool.
