Graduate Hotels has added 22nd property to its portfolio with the opening of the Graduate Nashville. Located in the Music City’s Midtown neighborhood, the 205-room property rises 12 stories in a structure crafted by Chicago-based architecture practice Hartshorne Plunkard.
An opulent, open-plan lobby welcomes guests with terrazzo marble floors and high-gloss walls. The lounge area located within comprises stadium seating populated with vibrant sofas, while a vintage stereo cabinet is repurposed to serve as the front desk. The brand’s signature café concept Poindexter occupies a central spot in the lobby, anchored by a bar crafted from hundreds of black pencils. New Graduate outpost is also home to a fun, animatronic karaoke bar called Cross-Eyed Critters Watering Hole. in addition, bar and restaurant concept Miss Bessie’s is slated to join the property on its top floor and will feature an indoor-outdoor pool destination.
The interiors of the guestrooms echo the local creative influence along with Southern fixtures like bright floral bed canopies, pink and white striped walls, and rich gold accents. Portraits of larger than life country music icons from Dolly Parton to Loretta Lynn adorn the walls, while intricate wool carpets mini jeweled pendants further infuse opulence.
