Hyatt Regency Chicago has completed its highly anticipated $150 million renovation, which spanned its 2,032 guestrooms and suites, along with two ballrooms.
Crafted by Ealain Studio, the refreshed spaces take cues from Chicago’s urban heritage, with features like graphic Art Deco patterns, a color palette that pays homage to Chicago’s greystone buildings, and art installments that tell the story of the city’s rich history.
The reimagined guestrooms are defined by an open layout, contemporary furniture, and plush comforts that welcome guests into a calm atmosphere.
The Regency and Crystal Ballrooms, meanwhile, have been refashioned with modern finishes and a neutral color palette. The renovation brought in new architectural lighting, flooring, wallcoverings, furniture, and curated artwork into prefunction spaces, too.
Planned renovations to the Grand Ballroom, in addition to several smaller event spaces, are slated to be completed next year.
