Davidson Hotels & Resorts has announced that its lifestyle and luxury operating division, Pivot Hotels & Resorts, will manage the forthcoming Kimpton Harper Hotel in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Texas. Slated to open spring 2021, the 226-room lifestyle concept will occupy the city’s former Farmers and Mechanics National Bank, which rises 24 stories into the skyline. Locally based studio Bennett Benner Partners will serve as the architect for the project, while Los Angeles-based Forchielli Glynn is spearheading the interior design.
Renovations to the tower will blend modern elements with existing architecture in order to infuse a more laidback sensibility across the space. Included among the onsite F&B lineup will be a vibrant Italian restaurant and bar, Il Modo, as well as penthouse bar and lounge Refinery 714. The landmark will also be outfitted with amenities like 10,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces and a rooftop observation deck framing 360-degrees views.
