Preferred Hotels & Resorts is prepared to add nine new luxury properties to its portfolio in 2024. From adults-only retreats and urban gems to coastal resorts and countryside hideaways, here are the forthcoming additions to the independent hotel brand:
The Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos in Mexico is ringing in the new year with a January opening. This adults-only coastal sanctuary boasts 79 spacious suites, an infinity pool, ocean-view event spaces, wellness services, and a private beach. The contemporary design of the property incorporates Mexico’s rich history, evident in details like a cactus garden and bright bougainvillea that adorn the balconies.
Situated less than an hour from New York City, the 66-room Pendry Natirar will occupy a Tudor-style mansion in New Jersey surrounded by 400 acres of rolling hills and conserved woodlands. The property, originally built in 1912 and formerly owned by the King of Morocco, will feature 24 adjoining residences, a farm-to-fork culinary experience, spa, fitness center, and swimming pool.
Overlooking the Bay of Naples, the 49-key Ara Maris Sorrento marries Italian elegance with contemporary aesthetics. The hotel, set to open in March, will feature guestrooms with panoramic views, a poolside bistro, lemon garden, and rooftop bar.
Meanwhile, the Maison Albar – Le Victoria in Nice, France is expected to open in May. The 132-room resort will channel the Côte d’Azur coastline with chic nautical interiors characterized by art deco touches, crystal lighting, and marine stripes.
Additional hotels in Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ 2024 lineup are TEMBO Barcelona in Spain (January debut); Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences in Riviera Beach, Florida (March debut); Glee Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya (Q1 debut); Villa Dahlia in Stockholm, Sweden (September debut); and Visions Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida (December debut).
