Raffles Hotels & Resorts has launched its latest luxury property in Jaipur, India.
Located in the fabled Pink City and encircled by the ancient Aravalli Range, Raffles Jaipur was designed by architect Clive Gray of Bangkok-based Randolph Gray Design as a modern-day palace.
Hand-carved from pure white marble, Raffles Jaipur showcases the finest in Rajasthani craftsmanship. Each element of the hotel was handcrafted by artisans, blending the age-old traditions and techniques of Mughal and Rajputana architecture.
Arriving at Raffles Jaipur
Hand-carved sandstone columns grace the hotel’s courtyard.
Once inside, opulent Mughal furnishings and patterned marble floors adorn the spacious grand hall, where a hidden mirrored door guides guests to a light-filled atrium, reminiscent of the women’s quarters of the Mughal court.
