Slated to open for the 2028 winter season, Raffles Hotels & Resorts is bringing its signature luxury to the French Alps with the announcement of its first-ever alpine resort.
Developed and owned by Art de Vivre, the slopeside retreat will be situated within the exclusive Jardin Alpin precinct of Courchevel. The property will be set against the sweeping panoramic views of the Tarentaise Valley, offering an atmospheric escape in the heart of Les Trois Vallées, the world’s largest interconnected ski area renowned for Michelin-starred dining and exclusive luxury boutiques.
A considered design by Humbert & Poyet
With interiors by Humbert & Poyet, the resort will feature 50 generously proportioned guestrooms and suites. Many of the accommodations will include furnished private balconies that frame the dramatic surrounding peaks and connect guests to the mountain landscape.
Destination dining in the heart of Courchevel
At the center of the resort, the design will unfold with a collection of distinctive culinary spaces meant to contrast and complement the snowy surroundings. Guests will be invited to savor cuisine against a stunning alpine backdrop in a signature bar and an elegant tea lounge, while two destination restaurants will boast lush winter gardens and expansive terraces, allowing the natural environment to a part of the dining experience.
Wellness amenities at Raffles Courchevel
Following a day on the slopes, guests can retreat to a spa and recovery zone designed for restoration and renewal. Amenities will combine traditional alpine therapies with precision treatments rooted in longevity science. This sanctuary will comprise tranquil treatment rooms, immersive thermal experiences, a dedicated fitness center, and a striking panoramic swimming pool.
Additionally, considered programming centered on nature, sport, and wellbeing will provide crafted experiences for younger travelers.
Raffles Courchevel will mark the brand’s sixth hotel in Europe, joining a portfolio that includes properties in London, Paris, Warsaw, Istanbul, plus a forthcoming Lake Como location that is slated to open in 2027.
