Jonathan Nehmer + Associates (JN+A) and HVS Design have completed the $18.5 million renovation of the Alloy, a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Brand convention is defied and elevated with an inviting, modern ethos characterized by eye-catching details that stir curiosity.
“The design of the Alloy melds together various elements to create a memorable guest experience,” says Scott P. Rosenberg, president of JN+A and principal of HVS Design. “From an engaging front desk to thoughtfully curated art, the Alloy embodies a unique balance of history and innovation. The transformation is a shining example of our team’s ability to reimagine spaces and maximize potential.”
The lobby warmly greets visitors with rich wood tones, stylized marble tiles, and mixed metals. Intricate tile inlays also guide guests toward amenities, including the onsite market and F&B spaces—like the lobby bar and the Hammer and Fire restaurant. In addition to the fitness center and 27 meeting rooms spread across 25,500 square feet, the hotel is also home to an outdoor dining area and a pool. Each of the Alloy’s 327 guestrooms are defined by a delicate balance of existing furnishings paired with new pieces that promote a modern sense of comfort.
