Denise Coll, president of the North America division for Starwood, has been inducted into the Massachusetts Lodging Hall of Fame. "Denise is renowned as a consummate hotelier not just in the eyes of the Massachusetts Lodging Industry but in the eyes of the hospitality industry as a whole," says Paul J. Sacco, president and CEO, Massachusetts Lodging Association. "We are pleased to recognize Denise for the contributions she has made during her storied career, and she is an inspiring example for other hoteliers present and future."
A Boston native, Coll began her career in hospitality with ITT Sheraton Corporation, serving as a reservation manager at the Sheraton Boston Hotel in 1977. She quickly rose through the ranks, working in a variety of increasingly senior positions within the company, which resulted in an exceptional track record as one of the industry’s most seasoned and successful hotel operators.
