New York-based architecture and development firm Flank announces the unveiling of new office and retail buildings at 320 and 360 Wythe Avenue in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York that will become the first timber structures developed in New York in more than a century. 320 Wythe is scheduled for completion in spring 2018, while 360 Wythe will debut during the fourth quarter of next year.

This is an important project for Williamsburg, for Brooklyn, and for New York City.”
360 Wythe Avenue
Both volumes will feature slabs and beams crafted from raw black spruce timber sourced in sustainably managed Canadian forests. 360 Wythe Avenue, the larger of the two buildings, will offer 46,000 square feet of office space and approximately 18,000 square feet of retail space. Ceiling heights will reach up to 16 feet in the retail space and more than 12 feet in the office space. The building will also have a residential component on its top two floors, as well as underground parking. 320 Wythe will offer more than 11,000 square feet of office space and 4,000 square feet of retail space, with ceiling heights reaching 17 feet in the retail space and more than 13 feet in the offices. Together, both buildings offer views of lower Manhattan and the Williamsburg Bridge from almost 3,000 square feet of private terraces.
