Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is set to plant its first Central American flag with the launch of the Six Senses Papagayo in Costa Rica. Slated for a mid-2021 opening, the luxury resort concept will frame panoramic views of the Guanacaste archipelago from the Papagayo Peninsula.

London-based architect John Heah will oversee the design of the property, which will emphasize a connection with nature.

In addition to 31 residences, the resort will comprise 41 isolated and spacious pool villas developed within a forested beachfront. Abundant wellness programming, including a spa and fitness center, will be featured alongside an organic farm located at the heart of the property.
