Standout: The living room of Riverhouse suite at the newly opened 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge features a dramatic ceiling installation of “grown” mushroom mycelium lamps that were locally made, speaking directly to the hotel’s (and the brand’s) sustainability vision.

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London
Designer: Joyce Wang Studio, Hong Kong and London
Standout: Drawing inspiration from the early 20th century’s Golden Age of travel, interior designer Joyce Wang’s Knightsbridge suites are characterized by an Art Deco style, evident in the living room’s striking centerpiece: a gold and crackled glass bespoke acorn chandelier.

AKA Times Square
Design team: AKA in-house designer Nicholas Cardone and Stanev Potts Architects, Philadelphia
Standout: Original, turn-of-the-century architectural details are welcoming deliberate elements inside the AKA Times Square, such as the commanding cast-iron floating staircase with glass railing that leads to a secluded and intimate eight-seat dining room.

Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Design team: Daun Curry Design Studio, New York
Standout: For the Signature Boulevard Penthouses at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas—one of 21 unique accommodations from three design studios that range from 2,000 to 5,000 square feet—Daun Curry chose a mix of glamorous design details such as pony hair walls, Italian glass mosaic, grotto-like soaking tubs, and a color palette inspired by the heady Sin City views, marking the designer’s hospitality debut.

Standout: Larger than oversized, the glass-enclosed shower provides a spa-like experience and views of the Strip at one of the Adam D. Tihany-crafted Signature Boulevard Penthouse suites, which he imagined as a luxurious residence in the sky for someone from Beverly Hills or New York.

Standout: Along pristine marble flooring, a color scheme of soft gold and silver tones mixed with cobalt blue (including 24-karat gold handcrafted resin and verre eglomise panels) brings the city’s energy inside at one of the Richmond International-designed Signature Boulevard Penthouse suites (the firm’s first project Sin City).

Standout: Honoring Italian film actress Sophia Loren, landscape architect Sophie Agata Ambroise designed the Sophia suite at MUSE Saint Tropez as a tucked away haven with a lush private garden and dipping pool, matching the icon’s natural elegance.

Ames Boston Hotel

Standout: For the avid hockey fanatic (particularly the Boston Bruins devotee), the Bobby Orr suite offers a true one-of-a-kind experience. From old bleacher seating and a scoreboard hanging on the ceiling to authentic Orr memorabilia, its design transports guests rink side at the Ames Boston Hotel.

Westin Nashville

Standout: The 2,045-square-foot Nashville suite exudes the extravagance and luxurious lifestyle of the quintessential rock star with a gold lacquered tub at the foot of the bed paired with an expansive mirror stretching the length of the ceiling, while floor-to-ceiling windows showcase Music City.

Standout: Working with acclaimed DJ White Shadow, Josh Held decked the Sound suite at the W Seattle out with a professional music recording studio outfitted with plush seating and state-of-the-art instruments and sound equipment, allowing guests the opportunity to be a songwriter during their stay. It’s the second in a series planned globally for the brand.
