New York-based wellness brand the Well and Auberge Resorts Collection have announced the launch of the Well at Mayflower Inn. Slated to open Tuesday, December 8th, the 20,000-square-foot concept, which combines elite wellness with high-end hospitality, is unveiled on the heels of the Washington, Connecticut property’s recent redesign by Celerie Kemble.
The Well at Mayflower Inn marks the company’s second location and its first hospitality partnership. For the design of the facility, the Well cofounder and CCO Kane Sarhan collaborated with Nina Gotlieb and the brand’s resident “plant whisperer” Luz LeStrange to craft an interior inspired by the whimsy and magic of the Connecticut countryside.
From fitness classes to custom spa treatments, the wellness destination is equipped with high-tech amenities, including an infrared sauna and cryotherapy chamber. The facility is also home to a pool house, which comprises a greenhouse-style all-season pool, traditional hammam with light therapy and aromatherapy, and a biophilic thermal pool surrounded by 400 plants to purify the air and instill a feeling of calm. Eight treatment rooms, dual steam rooms, a relaxation room, and a nail studio round out indoor spaces, while outdoor amenities include a yoga and meditation garden, tennis court, and seasonal pool. A new retail space offering a curated range of products is also featured.
“We are pioneering a new way to care for your health,” Sarhan says. “Partnering with Mayflower Inn & Spa, Auberge Resorts Collection is an exciting next step for us as we work together to innovate destination wellness. We want guests to feel fully transported and empower them to take greater agency over their health and also have support after they leave us to continue their wellness journey.”
