November 2017: Wallcoverings
In Cedit Ceramiche d’Italia’s Archeologie series of flat ceramic slabs, images with dense pigmentations and complex backgrounds are overlapped like slides projected on top of each other. Powdered colors and chalky materials resemble the stripping technique used to create frescoes.
