At a glance: Joining the Maybourne Hotel Group collection of hotels that includes London icons Claridge’s, the Berkeley, and the Connaught is the Maybourne Riviera on the Côte d’Azur of France. Following a soft opening in 2021, the 69-room property will welcome a new wing, spa, and restaurant this spring, nodding to Le Corbusier and Eileen Gray, who had homes on nearby Cap Moderne. Restaurants by culinary heavyweights Mauro Colagreco, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and Hiroyuki Sato add the requisite dash of French Riviera glam.
