At a glance: Comprising a hotel, beach club, and country club, the Seagate is a Delray Beach fixture that first landed in the city in the 1930s. Now part of the growing Long Weekend portfolio, the hospitality company behind the 2020 hit the Lake House on Canandaigua in New York’s Finger Lakes, the Seagate is in the midst of a contemporary, multi-phase upgrade that will pay tribute to classic south Florida design. First up: the 154-room hotel, which will flaunt a new fine dining restaurant and cocktail bar.
