Named for the regional Ste. Genevieve limestone that is essential to bourbon production, Hotel Genevieve will be firmly anchored in Louisville when it opens in April. For example, the 122-room hotel has embarked on a partnership with the neighboring Rabbit Hole Distillery, developed an art program that honors some of the city’s more memorable denizens, and filled its interiors with locally sourced furniture and foliage, as well as custom details that nod to Kentucky’s quilt culture.
