The Standard is set to launch a hotel in Singapore in November, coinciding with the boutique hotel brand’s 25th anniversary.
Situated on Orange Grove Road, near the UNESCO-listed Singapore Botanic Gardens, the Standard Singapore will embody the city’s “City in a Garden” vision.
The in-house design team, led by chief design officer Verena Heller, collaborated with Singapore’s Ministry of Design to create a vibrant fusion of East and West across the property.
Hosting 143 guestrooms, the hotel features floor-to-ceiling windows bursting with lush views, serene garden spaces spanning the first two floors, as well as a chic pool setting. Notable details include thoughtfully curated art installations and landscaping.
The onsite culinary experience will feature Kaya at the Standard, a reimagined izakaya; Kaya Bar, a sultry evening destination; and Café Standard, an all-day dining concept.
The Standard Singapore continues the brand’s successful expansion in Asia, following its properties in Hua Hin and Bangkok, as well as the launch of its sister brand, the StandardX, in Melbourne.
