What we’re looking forward to: The six one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas at Ubuyu, situated inside Ruaha National Park, take cues from both the Great Ruaha River’s curves and spherical Maasai dwellings. Made with locally sourced thatch, clay, and wood, the solar-powered, passively cooled accommodations forge a deep connection with the savannah terrain. Maji Spa, hidden away in an alfresco pavilion, also honors its surroundings through treatments incorporating native baobab.
