The Snug, named because of its low ceiling due to the mezzanine space above, is an extension of the Club Room.
Here, a lush garden mural by fourth-generation Cleveland artist Lari Jacobson winds its way across the walls and ceilings, visible to passersby on the street. The florals evoke wallpapers found throughout the hotel as well as local flowers, while the vine pattern is a reference to Severance Music Center. “My task for Jacobson was to make this room a celebration of everything Cleveland,” Ciszczon says.
