Chalfin first joined the company in 1974, becoming the third generation of Chalfins to take part in the furniture manufacturing business that the family started in 1935. Samuelson Furniture has long shared its creativity with the hospitality sector by creating functional pieces for high-end projects across the globe. Now, Chalfin’s son Michael continues the family tradition as vice president at the company. In this interview, Chalfin talks the importance family has on Samuelson’s craft, while also detailing the company’s latest innovations and offerings.
