I think best on
Any train (provided it’s not too crowded): a landscape flying by seems to be the ideal stimulant for thought, not too distracting and not a bore either.

My perfect day
Getting up
at 6:00 a.m, enjoying a cigar and a large pot of coffee looking out
over the Sayan Ridge in Indonesia, going for a walk through the jungle
with my neighbor, then sketching up an idea for a chair, visiting the
local museum and figuring out which of the hundreds of wood carvers in
the neighboring village Mas would be ideal to carve the chair, discuss
the details with the carver and his family, and then go to dinner with
friends at Terrazzo in Ubud.
