Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has launched its new Next Generation Lounge at the Oslo Gardemoen Airport (OSL). Designed to provide travelers with innovative and technologically enhanced amenities, the 9,700-square-foot space aims to evoke restorative qualities through unique sensory experiences.

Aligned with the principles of the SAS brand, the lounge boasts a sophisticated Scandinavian design, complete with natural and locally sourced materials including wood floors. Artistically rendered to resemble the night view of a city, two luminous wall lighting patterns welcome guests, while the Daylight Booster room provides light therapy to help give passengers a necessary boost before or after long journeys by regulating their circadian rhythm.

Three telephone rooms, a full coffee bar, and contemporary kitchen are included along with a 753-square-foot gym. Through a partnership with Hewlett-Packard, the lounge has installed a virtual reality experience as well.
