Neighborhood bistro Aubrey’s Corner has debuted in Summit, New Jersey. Designed by Brooklyn-based Emma Montgomery Design, the all-day restaurant balances warmth and familiarity with elevated detailing, creating a space that transitions easily from casual daytime lunches to intimate evening dining.
Rooted in a concept of “new American ease,” the interiors marry timeless materials with a relaxed, lived-in atmosphere. Herringbone white oak flooring anchors the space, while olive velvet and russet leather banquettes, classic French café seating, and curated artwork give texture and character.
Expansive curved windows fill the dining room with natural light, reinforcing the welcoming atmosphere. Meanwhile, the bar-forward layout encourages gathering, positioning the central bar as the social heart of the restaurant.
