Auric Road, a collection of experiential resorts celebrating the beauty and diversity of the Americas, has opened the doors to its first members club. Dubbed Auric Room 1915, the inaugural concept is located at the Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky, Montana.
Steeped in Montana heritage, Auric Room 1915, which nods to the year Lone Mountain Ranch was founded, is tucked away in the property, accessible via a hidden doorway. Inside, guests will find a supper club with private booths, banquettes, an intimate bar, private kitchen, and cigar terrace with sweeping views.
Auric Room 1915 channels a western saloon
Designed by Eric Cheong of North 45 Projects, the club is made up of a series of cozy spaces.
Rustic reclaimed oak flooring and heavy timber framing harken a bygone era, while a thick black marble bar set on an ebonized oak base adds a touch of mystery and modernity. Antiques, dark walls, custom wallpaper, a winding staircase, and slew of banquettes and cabinets evoke a hidden saloon.
Works by local artists and custom lamp shades, displayed alongside a collection of curated Montana artifacts circa 1915, tell the story of Montana and its wildlife.
Auric Room 1915 is a phone-free environment, which protects the privacy of guests as well as allows members to transport to a time before the distraction of social media.
