Capella Hotels and Resorts, in partnership with Galaxy Entertainment Group, is gearing up to launch Capella at Galaxy Macau.
Next year, the 93-key hotel will open in Macau’s Greater Bay Area with a spotlight on the destination’s vibrant cultural heritage.
Capella at Galaxy Macau’s suites and villas
Interwoven into resort destination Galaxy Macau, the 17-story hotel features 36 expansive Sky Villas. Each Sky Villa boasts a spacious, light-filled private balcony complete with a full-length transparent infinity swimming pool, outdoor lounge, sunroom, and a hidden winter garden.
The design of the villas is driven by meaningful connections thanks to gathering spaces like an entertainment lounge, games room, and a contemporary bar.
Meanwhile, the 57 suites boast spacious private plunge pools and balconies offering views of the cityscape.
The hotel’s art-filled design
The hotel’s interiors, envisioned by Bruno Moinard and Claire Bētaille of the Paris-based interior design firm Moinard Bētaille, build on Capella’s legacy of combining contemporary elegance with individualized design.
The duo curated a haven of sophistication, with radiant spaces that celebrate the vibrant colors of Macau’s natural landscape. The design is rounded out with a diverse contemporary art collection.
Capella at Galaxy Macau’s signature restaurant
Capella at Galaxy Macau’s signature dining concept is crafted in partnership with Michelin-starred chef Vicky Cheng.
The restaurant’s design was crafted by London- and Hong Kong-based interior designer Joyce Wang. Wang illustrates a fluid space, where boundaries between guests and the chef are blurred to allow for a fully immersive and intimate dining experience.
The members-only lounge Pony & Plume
Capella at Galaxy Macau will also feature Pony & Plume, a members-only al fresco lounge.
Inspired by the game of equestrian polo, Pony & Plume boasts an elegant bar, an extensive humidor housing handpicked vintage Cuban cigars, and a private collection of art and antiques.
