Carver Road Hospitality has announced that it will launch its maiden F&B venue, Carversteak, at Resorts World Las Vegas. Opening in December, the luxury 14,500-square-foot steakhouse will evoke a rich, contemporary flair crafted by Toronto-based firm DesignAgency.
“Carversteak was heavily influenced by the rich design language of midcentury modern interiors and led by a strong connection to nature and the desire to create movement thru digital art and moments of surprise and mystery,” says DesignAgency founding partner Anwar Mekhayech.
Carversteak will serve as a stylish, modern reinterpretation of Las Vegas steakhouse conventions with a bond to nature and the outdoors that inspires exploration and curiosity. “The feeling ranges from a nature-inspired, bright, and airy landmark restaurant to a high-energy and vibrantly charged space with a strong digital art program,” Mekhayech adds.
The tactile materiality will nod to midcentury Art Deco influences to instill an energetic grandeur. A meticulously executed lighting and sound system will further accent the unique ambiance, while a wraparound digital backbar screen will infuse a sense of calm or energy into the atmosphere depending on the time of day. An expansive, 70-foot-long bar composed of honed quartzite stone will anchor the spacious bar and lounge area, while another bar and lounge space will be located across the restaurant’s 3,500-square-foot terrace as well.
