Situated within the bustling Mega Silk Way shopping center in Astana, Kazakhstan, Daredzhani restaurant is an immersive journey through Georgian culture and tradition.
The interiors of the 2,400-square-foot restaurant, styled by Akhmetova Aigerim, channel the warmth of Georgian communal feasts, blending traditional elements with contemporary flair.
Locally crafted wall panels, custom furniture, and open kitchen shelving infuse the space with an artisanal quality, while modern chairs subtly complement the Georgian aesthetic.
Thoughtful lighting, meanwhile, illuminates tables and highlights decorative elements.
Working with an asymmetrical layout, the design team introduced two intricate cross-vault ceilings, completely adorned with handpainted murals, including a phoenix that symbolizes rebirth and artwork inspired by the zodiac, evoking the cyclical nature of time.
