Global hospitality group Noble 33 has joined forces with Super Bowl champions Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes to launch 1587 Prime—a name inspired by the jersey numbers of the two Kansas City Chiefs stars.
Crafted by Noble 33’s in-house team—including founders Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha—in collaboration with the Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry, 1587 Prime is housed in a two-story, 10,000-square-foot space inside the iconic Loews Kansas City Hotel.
“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” explains Mahomes.
The art of steak and football at 1587 Prime
A grand entrance guides guests along a narrowing tunnel that emulates the dramatic walk into a stadium. The experience begins at the concierge area, where large, refrigerated displays showcase premium dry-aged cuts featured on the menu, offering a visual prelude to the exceptional dining experience ahead. (Also on the menu: The Alchemy, a signature drink inspired by Taylor Swift’s 2024 song, comprising a clarified citrus vodka blend, dry curacao, aronia berry, cranberry, strawberry, lime, and oolong tea.)
The ground floor boasts a central stage, 20-seat bar, and intimate banquettes. A grand staircase ascends to the second floor revealing a semi-private dining area for more than 40 guests and a private dining room for up to 20 with additional access via a discreet VIP entrance. Tables are positioned with a view of the open kitchen for a behind-the-scenes look at the culinary artistry.
“With 1587 Prime, we didn’t just set out to create another steakhouse. We worked with Patrick and Travis to capture the essence of Kansas City—its pride, its hospitality, and its passion for great food—while staying true to Noble 33’s brand vision and design aesthetic,” says Berman.
Noble 33’s restaurant portfolio includes Toca Madera, Casa Madera, Sparrow Italia, and Meduza Mediterrania, as well as several projects in the works.
