The AC Hotel Pleasanton in the idyllic suburb of San Francisco, Pleasanton, has arrived after its comprehensive transformation and rebranding by DLR Group. Drawing inspiration from the natural splendor of the destination, the redesign, which totaled more than $20 million, is characterized by crisp and contemporary lines.
Compromising a romantic linear lighting design, custom millwork, and wood elements that infuse warmth across the neutral palette, the interiors are punctuated by artwork from Christine Cassano and Scott Hile. The hotel’s 17 reimagined accommodations feature a sleek and sophisticated design, while hardwood floors further support the hotel’s minimalist ethos.
The boutique Californian concept is also home to many indoor-outdoor communal areas promoting connections, such as the glass-enclosed meeting spaces, the AC Lounge, and the outdoor pavilion. Spread across more than 50,000 square feet, the property’s chic pool deck is activated with elegant cabanas, while the adjacent AC Library offers reprieve with ambient lighting and transitional seating.
