Managed by IDM Hospitality Management, Hotel Vandivort has opened as the first boutique lodging option in Springfield, Missouri.
Repurposed from a 1906 Masonic temple, the upscale hotel is expected to achieve LEED Gold certification and features 50 guestrooms, 12 suites, and two premiere suites. Interiors blend an industrial design language with vintage-inspired elements.
“We knew we could bring new life back to this significant, historic building and add something to the Springfield landscape that has been missing—a contemporary and style-oriented gathering place for our community,” says Karen McQueary, who co-owns Hotel Vandivort along with family members Billy and John McQueary.
The Order, the hotel’s signature full-service restaurant, is located in the open-concept lobby and pays homage to the building’s history.
Additional amenities include two meeting rooms and the 200-person Vandivort ballroom, located on the top floor.
