Hard Rock International has announced plans to launch its newest property in the heart of Manhattan’s Times Square. The 445-guestroom hotel will honor its neighborhood of Music Row, once a mecca for music legends like Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones.
Museum-like displays of rock memorabilia from contemporary artists will grace the hotel walls in addition to items affiliated with artists who helped shape New York’s musical legacy. Interior designs, including displays, will be overseen by Hard Rock’s interior design studio.
The vibrant lobby will greet guests with its signature restaurant and lounge, as well as a bar and Rock Shop. A rooftop venue will overlook Times Square and Rockefeller Center. The hotel will also honor the city’s history and musical subcultures with the addition of an underground speakeasy. The Rock Spa and the Body Rock workout facility will provide music-infused wellness opportunities for guests as well.
The new-build project is expected to reach completion by the spring of 2019.
