Dallas-based firm Design Duncan Miller Ullman has completed work on the newest Z Resorts concept, Hotel ZaZa Austin, in the Warehouse District of the Texas capital.
Marrying the sophistication of Austin with a rustic Lone Star authenticity, the new luxury concept of the town is home to 159 king and double king rooms, in addition to the themed suites like the brand’s signature Magnificent Seven.
One of the other four concept suites, the Palm Springs-inspired Bungalow 6 king suite evokes a retro flair with bold notes of color, intricate patterns, and mod furniture, while the Back Stage Pass suite amplifies the rock n roll lifestyle with animal prints, leather, velvet, and vibrant furnishings.
Among the three F&B concepts of the hotel is the Perfect Strangers café on the ground floor, outfitted with sumptuous leather booths, marble mosaic floors, artwork, and an outdoor seating area. The craft cocktail bar, Group Therapy is housed across the seventh floor, while the Cabana Bar overlooks the expansive pool deck.
