Two new Limelight Hotel properties—owned and operated by Aspen Hospitality—are slated to open their doors in Mammoth Lakes, California and Boulder, Colorado in 2025.
Limelight Mammoth will be located close to the village gondola, providing convenient access to Mammoth Mountain. The all-electric hotel will comprise 149 guestrooms and suites along with 8,000 square feet of meeting spaces. With a contemporary and accessible design, the hotel will offer a variety of spaces—including residences, a private club, and a lounge—that make it feel like home.
“Limelight Mammoth is inspired by the alpine beauty of Mammoth Lakes and the region,” says Julie Frank, vice president of design at Aspen Hospitality. “We incorporated natural and contemporary materials to create an inviting atmosphere for community and visitors.”
Limelight Boulder, on the other hand, will serve as a community hub that lies “at the intersection of natural beauty and a bustling university campus,” says Frank. The goal of the Colorado hotel is to be a destination for events and experiences, serving the university, research, business, and nonprofit communities in the city.
The 252-room hotel will be both walkable and bikeable, and feature 30,000 square feet of functional meeting space, including a 15,000-square-foot ballroom. Other amenities will include a heated spa and pool, an outdoor terrace with firepits, a coworking space, and a private social club. The design will be defined by bold color accents against wooden backdrops.
“The palette at both properties continues the Limelight signature and includes modern designs with unique yet warm and comfortable furniture selections,” Frank adds.
