Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts expands its portfolio with the debut of Portrush Adelphi, a 34-room property located in the heart of the seaside town of Portrush, Northern Ireland.
Following its acquisition in 2022, the hotel underwent an extensive restoration led by AJ Capital Partners’ in-house design team. The result is an atmosphere inspired by the rich heritage, natural beauty, and golfing traditions of County Antrim.
Inspired interiors at Portrush Adelphi
Guests are welcomed by a lobby featuring rich mahogany herringbone floors, stately columns, lush greenery, and an open fireplace—a cozy centerpiece for colder months.
Each guestroom showcases jewel tones, bespoke furnishings, and thoughtful amenities. Tartan upholstery and cable knit throws layer warmth and texture onto moody deep blue and green hues that evoke the region’s lush landscape. Bathrooms continue the land-and-sea theme, adorned with vibrant green tiles and custom wallpaper that nods to Ireland’s “Emerald Isle” nickname.
The Red Snail Room
The Red Sail Room, a newly imagined high-end Italian dining concept, aims to attract both guests and locals.
The space pairs authentic traditions with contemporary elegance, featuring oak leaf wallpaper, whitewashed wood paneling, oil paintings of the local coastline, and deep maroon velvet banquettes.
Portrush Adelphi joins Marine & Lawn’s growing collection, which includes Slieve Donard in Newcastle, County Down; Rusacks St Andrews; Marine North Berwick; Marine Troon; and Dornoch Station Hotel.
