Lifestyle hospitality company Standard International accelerates its expansion in Europe with three upcoming projects.
Anticipated to open in the first half of 2025, the Standard, Brussels is poised to redefine the concept of mixed-use spaces. Enveloped by the ZIN redevelopment project in the city’s Northern Quarter, the 200-key hotel will feature the brand’s first extended-stay accommodations within the transformed World Trade Center. The Standard’s in-house design is working in tandem with Jaspers-Eyers Architects and Bernard Dubois Architects to bring the space to life.
The Standard, Lisbon will weave its way into Portugal’s capital in the latter half of 2025. A former naval hospital is being resurrected by STC Arquitetura to house the hotel, which will comprise approximately 172 rooms, branded residences, an outdoor pool deck, a rooftop cocktail bar, and a colorful onsite spa. The interiors will be brought to life by the Standard team and Jaime Hayon of Spain-based Hayon Studio.
Looking ahead to 2027, the Standard, Dublin will bring 200 accommodations to in the Dublin Arch (formerly Connelly Corner) development.
Standard International has been named HD’s 2024 Hotel Company of the Year, and will be honored at 20th annual HD Awards ceremony in Las Vegas.
