Tao Hospitality Group is set to expand its empire with a brand-new venture: the launch of its maiden TAO-branded resort in Orlando, Florida. Slated to open in 2025, the Tao Hotel Orlando will debut as an anchor of O-Town West, a forthcoming $1 billion mixed-use community spread across 350 acres. Longtime design partner Rockwell Group will craft the luxury property, which will include a Tao Asian Bistro, rooftop venue, fitness center, and meeting spaces.
“A hotel was the natural evolution for us,” says Tao co-CEO Noah Tepperberg. “This hotel will be an exquisite escape and will enable us to showcase our company’s flagship concept in a whole new way. Boasting over 40 million visitors annually, Orlando is the perfect place for our first branded resort property. More than just culinary and nightlife, Tao is a lifestyle, and this large-scale venture provides the ultimate opportunity to bring that experience to life.”
Tao is expected to close 2022 with the opening of nine branded locations, with an additional 10 unit slated to roll out through 2023.
