Bedding manufacturer United Feather & Down recently donated pillows and comforts to Chicago-area shelters as part of the United Relief Foundation’s (URF) Project Restoring Hope, which addresses plight of the homeless, especially veterans. The two homeless facilities that received the bedding are Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton and the Journeys from PADS to HOPE in Palatine.
"We take pride in our local community and want to help those around us who are facing tough times," says Stephen Palmer, United Feather & Down co-president. "The URF works tirelessly to assist homeless Americans, and we’re honored to help the organization carry out its mission of delivering hope and help in the Chicago suburbs and beyond."
