Project: AC Hotel Portland Downtown Waterfront, Maine

Boston-based Group One Partners enlisted Faulkner + Locke to fill the AC Hotel Portland with a collection of thoughtful, large-scale pieces. Among them is Triangular Composition A & B, the focal point of the lobby constructed with wood, iron, and brass by Building Four Fabrication. Adds Faulkner + Locke principal Sally Faulkner: “The AC brand’s design has such a clean, contemporary feel, and we emulated that look by focusing on texture, geometry, and materials.”
