Since we couldn’t come together this year at HD Expo, BDNY, and ICFF, we’ve gathered a few goodies that would have been showcased on the show floor
HD Expo: JANUS et Cie has expanded its Alta series with 26 new pieces of outdoor furniture ranging from ottomans and side tables to lounge chairs and benches. In addition to a gently raised seat, the new dining and lounge chairs feature a slightly shorter seat depth and increased overall height.
HD Expo: In Kenneth Cobonpue’s biometric Lily mobile chandelier, lily pad-inspired pieces in a fiber-reinforced polymer act as counterpoints to individual exposed light sources, from which each element is separated by a freely rotating, vertically suspended brass bar.
HD Expo: Celebrating the spirit of personal style and comfortable living, S. Harris’ Q2 Performance Fabrics are inspired by the art, fashion, and travel trends of the moment. The highly resilient, stain-resistant collection retains its easy-to-clean characteristics throughout its life.
HD Expo: Room & Board’s Avery bed features soft fabric embellishments with tufting that puts a modern twist on its classic style. Adding texture and color to the room, it comes in five mattress sizes and does not require a box spring.
HD Expo: Astek’s Botanica Magna challenges the viewer to perceive the world from the ground up with large-scale murals that create immersive environments of towering cacti, flowers, mushrooms, and more fantastical flora. The collection is digitally printed on Type II vinyl substrates.
HD Expo: Offering 11 new categories of acoustic products, MDC Interior Solutions’ Zintra 3.0 line ranges from etched, sculpted, and layered wallcoverings to box tiles, architectural shapes, box ceiling baffles, desk wraps, and floor-to-ceiling screens.
HD Expo: Three of the six Quantum offerings from Mayer Fabrics’ (Matter, Molecule, and Vector) are polycarbonate-based and polyurethane-coated with striking emboss and print features, while woven textiles Gravity, Relativity, and Static are chemically bonded with durable thermoplastic elastomer.
HD Expo: Newport Brass’ Pavani 3100 widespread lavatory faucet features a solid brass construction and ADA-compliant lever handles, and is available in 28 finishes, including weathered copper, satin bronze, flat black, and gloss black.
HD Expo: Tarkett’s Techtonic LBT polyurethane coating is notable for the absence of additives, which can lead to scratch whitening if the floor is damaged. New testing demonstrates superior wear performance, and has received no claims of over-scratching, scuffing, or abrasion.
HD Expo: Like a bouquet of delicate blooms, Hubbardton Forge’s 12-Light Mobius pendant is light and airy, featuring spun frost shades shaped like petals. It hangs from a “stem” available in nine finishes and three lengths.
BDNY: Fabricut Contract’s Indoor/Outdoor Performance collection contains a comprehensive selection of fabrics that meet the high-wear durability and easy-to-clean characteristics of indoor upholstery applications, as well as the piling and lightfastness of hospitality outdoor standards.
BDNY: Hand loomed in India, nanimarquina’s Colors collection is the company’s first plain dhurrie offering. Four colors are available, and unlike other dhurries, the fringe is part of the rug’s structure.
BDNY: Bernhardt Hospitality’s Captiva outdoor chair and ottoman feature a herringbone weave made out of Endura wicker. It comes in a pewter gray finish and a powdercoated aluminum frame, with quick-dry foam cushions.
BDNY: Intended to inspire the imagination, Studio Twist’s Color Stories series is antimicrobial, lightweight, colorfast, and recyclable while resisting stains, abrasions, UV rays, mold, and mildew.
ICFF: The modernist Desert lounge chair from Ferm Living features a graceful profile crafted from a tubular powdercoated steel frame in black or cashmere. The structure holds the interchangeable woven textile seat, available in four designs and made from recycled plastic bottles.
ICFF: Massproductions’ Roadie is a curved, lightweight, stackable sofa for outdoor environments. Made of recycled aluminum tubes and reinforced by functional stays that provide stability, the high back is at a comfortable angle.
ICFF: AMEICO partnered with Danish brand Made By Hand to create the Workshop Lamp collection. The light fixture takes a classic design from designer A. Wedel-Madsen in 1951 that was never put into production and brings in modern design values to its style and functionality.
ICFF: Scandinavian Spaces’ Point collection includes built-in power outlets while its size and shape can be reduced or expanded. Its wood legs are available in white-pigmented ash and white- or black-stained ash, as well as metal variations.
ICFF: Brett Paulin Design’s Vincent lounge chair and matching ottoman set are crafted by hand. Cross-stitched seams and expert woodworking details define the chair’s profile, which comes in olive green heritage leather on a black walnut frame.
