Architecture and design firm: Jordan Ralph Design, Dublin
The details: Overlooking the Silicon Docks of Dublin, the Space Between—a yoga studio, gallery, café, and event space all in one—has opened within a transformed coach house at the hands of Jordan Ralph Design. Promoting spirituality and reflection, “the overall driving concept was the idea of savasana, which is your final resting pose at the end of a yoga flow,” explains firm founder Jordan Ralph. “Although one can drift away, there’s an amazing sense of grounding and strength in your body as the floor holds you.” Whitened Irish ash and matte white walls convey a chalky, aged look, while a circular motif is expressed through disc lights and custom mirrors. To promote tranquility, amber glass and a gradient mirror mingle with brass accents embedded into the concrete floor. “In the digital age,” Ralph adds, “beautiful, honest, well-designed spaces are more important than ever.”
