Designed by Snøhetta, the 7th room, part of Sweden’s Treehotel, includes 12 columns, which shoulder the cabin’s weight from the trees, while also minimizing its footprint in the forest.

Built as a traditional Nordic cabin, the design features a charred pine board façade.

An angular staircase weaves through the trees to the entrance, and a small lift carries luggage.

Spanning the gap between both bedrooms, a double-layered netted terrace is punctured by a pine tree.

The 775-square-foot underside of the cabin is clad with a black and white aluminum print of trees ascending toward the sky.

Two bedrooms are located on the upper level of the cabin and include beds embedded into the ash wood floors.

Expansive windows flood the interior with daylight that reflects off birch plywood walls.
