The Manchester hotel is now open in Lexington, Kentucky’s historic Distillery District.
Envisioned by hoteliers Nik Feldman and Hank Morris, the upscale 125-room retreat is situated on grounds formerly inhabited by central Kentucky’s first registered bourbon distillery. The property features soulful interiors—designed by New York-based Jenny Bukovec Design in collaboration with Morris—that pay homage to the city’s rich history and rickhouse structures, while also blazing a new path forward.
Beyond the dramatic arches of the Rickhouse Revival exterior, a palette of rich, earthy tones channels the landscapes and rolling hills of the surrounding Bluegrass region.
A convivial lobby bar and lounge serves as the Manchester’s key social hub, along with 140-seat restaurant Granddam. Overlooking downtown Lexington, rooftop bar and lounge Lost Palm touts an Art Deco-style ethos informed by the horseracing culture of 1960s South Florida. Both culinary concepts are helmed by husband-and-wife chef duo Karl and Paula Lowe.
