Hilton announced the opening of Canopy by Hilton Hangzhou West Lake. Marking the brand’s 27th property globally, the 160-room hotel is owned by Zhejiang Xingcai Investment Co., Ltd. and managed by Hilton. Cheng Chung Design designed the property.
The design of Canopy by Hilton Hangzhou West Lake was inspired by the city’s past as a hub of cultural diversity throughout history. Featuring elements of a kaleidoscope to represent traits of diversity and community, the hotel is home to a unique mix of spaces that incorporate aspects from Hangzhou’s local culture and architecture, blending both seamlessly as a natural extension of the neighborhood. Delightful tones peppered throughout the hotel create a relaxing atmosphere with touches of refreshing orange hues. A specially curated wall displaying the best of Hangzhou will also showcase authentic artifacts and crafts from local shops and artisans.
